    I am a cheerful and patient person who absolutely adores children! I am respectful of families’ individual needs and tries my very best to communicate effectively with the family in order to build a strong relationship. I am also a fun person who enjoys engaging with children in meaningful play experiences, which stem from the child’s interests and strengths.

    Childcare experience:

    I have two siblings (7 and 9) so I have plenty of experience being with children since I watched them growing up, and taking care of them since they were born.

    I have been a babysitter since the first year of university so I have around three years of taking care of children from different family backgrounds with various needs. I have looked after children from infancy, early childhood and late primary school stages. All of the families that I have been in contact with are long term partnerships, with most continuing for six months or longer. Parental references are recent and available.

    I have also been on placements throughout my university course, including long day care and kindergarten settings. I am also honoured to be a casual replacement teacher at one of the kindergartens I attended for placement. An up to date WWCC is available.
